Privacy notice for university coaches

Mis à jour le 28 septembre 2026

This notice explains how we handle the information you enter in the recruiting brief form (/coaches/needs). It is the English version, for coaches, of the relevant part of our French privacy policy.

Who we are

SAS SH Sports (French company, SIREN 102 986 106), which runs the OUTSIDER brand, is the data controller. Contact: outsider.showcases@gmail.com. Registered office: 42 avenue de Castelnau, bâtiment D, appartement 90, 34090 Montpellier, France.

As we are established in France, your data is protected by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), whatever your nationality or place of residence.

What we collect

  • Your professional contact details: name, role, email, and phone number if you choose to give it.
  • Your program: university, level, team.
  • Your recruiting criteria: formation, style of play, positions, entry term, academic and English requirements, scholarship ranges, preferences for following our showcases and for communicating with players, and anything you write in the free-text fields.

Please do not include any player's name or health information in the free-text fields.

Why, and on what legal basis

  • To suggest players who match your brief, including through an automated match score between your brief and player profiles. This score only helps us rank profiles; it has no legal or similarly significant effect on you.
  • To organize how you follow our showcases and to contact you about them.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before any agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in building relationships with university programs (Article 6(1)(f)).

Who sees your data

Only the OUTSIDER team. Your brief is never sold and never shared with other university programs.

Service providers acting on our behalf: Vercel Inc. (website hosting, run in its Paris region), Supabase (database, Paris region), and Google (email, for messages you exchange with us). Vercel and Google are US companies certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

3 years from our last exchange, then it is deleted.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy of it, at any time, by emailing outsider.showcases@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
